Our Roundtable Sessions are interactive discussions designed specifically for our Conference tracks. Each roundtable is offered three times throughout the conference, giving you multiple opportunities to build connections, ask questions, share ideas, and discuss real-world challenges with colleagues who do what you do.

The conversation will naturally evolve as the conference progresses—from making new connections after the opening session, to discussing ideas and solutions inspired by conference sessions, to wrapping up with final questions and takeaways before heading home. No presentations, no slides—just valuable conversations with your peers.

Implementing PowerSchool Advanced Workflow is more than a technical project—it's a change management journey that requires collaboration, persistence, and a shared vision for improving business processes. In this session, I will share our district's experience from the initial decision to implement Advanced Workflow through final go-live and adoption.

Participants will learn about the challenges we encountered, including balancing district technology security standards with PowerSchool requirements, and the lessons we learned while navigating those complexities. I'll highlight key successes, practical tips, and strategies that helped keep the project moving forward during a multi-year implementation.

The session will also focus on the critical role of partnership and communication among the Business Office, Technology Department, and the PowerSchool Advanced Workflow team. Attendees will gain insight into how this collaborative approach helped maintain momentum, overcome obstacles, and ultimately achieve successful implementation of requisition and journal entry approvals, with additional workflows continuing to expand.
