About me
Stephen is a Programmer/Analyst at a medium school district, where he leads the development of automation, reporting, and integration solutions across financial, HR, and student systems. His work includes architecting automation platforms, developing Active Directory synchronization tools, and managing W-2 and 1099 generation and distribution for more than 5,000 employees annually.
Stephen has extensive experience building practical, user-focused technology solutions, including student language translation applications, district-wide Chrome extensions, financial transparency dashboards, and custom ERP and vendor management systems. His technical background spans ASP.NET, PowerShell, XML/XSL customization, Cognos reporting, Google Apps Script, and enterprise systems integration.
Prior to education technology, Stephen developed utility applications serving more than 250,000 cooperative members, led IT operations for multiple medical offices, and served in the U.S. Navy as a Senior Missile Systems Technician supporting the MK 29 ESSM aboard the aircraft carrier John C Stennis (CVN-74).
